# Giveaway commands

> Create, run and manage giveaways.

Giveaway management commands require **Manage Server**, **Administrator**, or a **Giveaway Manager role**. See [Permissions](https://docs.giveawayx.lol/concepts/permissions.md).

## /gcreate

Create a giveaway with a quick form

**Permission:** Everyone

## /gstart

Starts a giveaway with customizable options

**Permission:** Manage Server

## /gdrop

Starts a drop giveaway — first to claim wins!

**Permission:** Manage Server

## /glast

Starts a 'first or last one to type wins' giveaway

**Permission:** Manage Server

## /gedit

Edit an active or scheduled giveaway

## /gend

Ends an active giveaway

**Permission:** Manage Server

Shows a confirmation that expires after 60 seconds. Also available as the **End Giveaway** message action.

## /gpause

Pauses a running giveaway (freezes its countdown)

## /gresume

Resumes a paused giveaway (restores its remaining time)

## /greroll

Rerolls one or more new winners from an ended giveaway

Delete a giveaway

Lists active or ended giveaways in the server

## /setcolor

Set a custom color for giveaway embeds (Premium Only)

**Permission:** Manage Server
