# Starboard

> Showcase your server's best messages in a dedicated channel.

When a message collects enough reactions, the starboard **reposts it** in a channel of your choice. Open the control panel with `/starboard` (requires **Manage Server**).

## Quick setup

**1. Open the panel**

Run `/starboard`.

**2. Pick a channel**

Choose where starred messages are posted.

**3. Choose an emoji and threshold**

The default is ⭐ with a threshold of 3 reactions (1 to 100).

**4. Turn it on**

Switch the starboard on. That is all you need.

## Advanced options

> **Multiple emojis**
>
> Add more emojis, each with its own threshold and, if you like, its own channel.

> **Star rewards**
>
> Give authors a role once their messages earn a total number of stars.

> **Filters**
>
> Limit to certain channels, block certain roles, require a minimum account age or server join age, ignore NSFW channels, or require an attachment.

> **Behavior**
>
> Allow several reactions per person, ignore bots, remove self-star reactions, delete the post when a message is un-starred or deleted, set a repost cooldown, and limit by minimum or maximum message age.

> **How posts look**
>
> Choose an **embed**, a modern layout, or plain text. Show or hide the author, title, description, source, image, footer, timestamp and a **Jump to message** button. Attachments, videos, polls, stickers and voice messages are supported, and NSFW content can be auto-spoilered.

> Starboard posts are kept in sync automatically, even after the bot restarts.
