# Voting and rewards

> Vote for the bot to earn a role, bonus giveaway entries and reminders.

Voting for GiveawayX on bot lists supports the bot and **rewards you**. You can vote every **12 hours**.

## What you get

> **Vote role**
>
> A temporary role in the support server, removed automatically after 12 hours.

> **Bonus entries**
>
> **+1 extra entry** in every active giveaway you have joined.

> **Reminders**
>
> A DM when you can vote again.

>
> Vote entries count while your vote is current (12 hours). The host can cap how many vote entries one member can earn with the giveaway's `max_entries` option.

## Where to vote

The bot supports **Top.gg** and **Discord Bot List**. Discord Bot List votes also give a **claim** button: pressing it **doubles** your vote entries in your active giveaways for a limited time.

## Reminders

Reminders arrive by DM when you are able to vote again. You can **opt out permanently** with a button on the reminder.
