# Server settings

> Set your server's giveaway defaults with /settings, /setcolor and /setemoji.

`/settings` opens an interactive panel with a menu of sections. Items marked Tier 1 or Tier 2 need that [Premium tier](https://docs.giveawayx.lol/concepts/premium.md).

## Sections in detail

> A summary of your server's current settings.

>
> Turn **Winner DM**, **Host DM** and **Global DM** on or off. Edit and reset the DM messages. Tier 1

> **Winner thread**
>
> Choose whether threads are created, whether they are public or private, when they close, whether claims are tracked, whether winners are pinged and how long they have to claim. Customize the thread name, message and color. Tier 1

> **Enter button**
>
> Pick the button color (Primary, Secondary, Success or Danger) and label, show or hide the **participants** button, and limit which roles can view participants. Tier 1

> **Appearance**

> Set the embed color, custom labels, and your own winner, entry and leave messages, each with a reset button. Tier 1

> **Entry mode**

> Switch your default between **Button** and **Reaction** entry. Tier 1

> **Bot customization**
>
> Give the bot your own nickname (Tier 1, this server only), and your own avatar, banner and bio (Tier 2, applied everywhere).

## Quick commands

| `/setcolor` | Set a custom hex color for giveaway embeds, such as `#ff0000`. Premium |
| `/setemoji` | Set a custom emoji for the entry button. Premium |
