Only one change can run on a giveaway at a time, and commands have a short cooldown. That prevents two people from clicking at once and corrupting a giveaway.
/gedit: edit a giveaway
Change an active or scheduled giveaway./gedit uses the same Studio panel as creation, with a live preview.
What you can change
What you can change
Prize, duration (counted from now), winners, images, required roles, bypass roles, blacklist roles, winner roles, description, host, creation message, join age, account age, bonus entries,
max_entries (0 means unlimited, up to 10), repeat and sticky.Ended giveaways cannot be edited. Use
/greroll to change winners instead./gpause and /gresume
/gpause freezes the countdown. Entries are refused, and the giveaway will not end. When you /gresume, the paused time is added back so the remaining time is exactly what it was.
- Pausing
- Resuming
If a giveaway is already past its end time, pausing is refused. End it instead, because resuming would end it instantly.
/gend: end now
Ends an active giveaway immediately and draws winners. It shows a confirmation (valid for 60 seconds) with a preview. If ending cannot work, for example because the message was deleted, the bot tells you instead of failing silently./gdelete
Deletes the giveaway message and its data, and cleans up everything attached to it. The right-click action does the same thing./glist
/gfix: diagnose and repair
If a giveaway looks stuck or wrong,/gfix inspects it, checks both the bot’s records and Discord, and shows a report. Add dry_run:true to only look.
Repairs are safe: each one changes only what is wrong, running it twice does no harm, and the result is double-checked afterward.
