GiveawayX keeps count of how many times each member has boosted your server, so you can reward boosters in giveaways and thank them on the dashboard.

How boosts are counted

Whenever someone boosts the server, Discord posts a boost message in the server. The bot reads these messages and adds them to that member’s total:
  • One boost adds 1.
  • If a member applies several boosts at once, all of them are added.
  • The date of their latest boost is remembered.
The bot can only count boosts it sees. Boosts made before GiveawayX joined the server, or while it could not read the boost messages, are not counted automatically.

Require boosters

Only boosting members can enter, or members who boosted a minimum number of times.

Reward boosters

Give boosters extra entries with a role bonus such as @Booster 3.
Pair a booster-only giveaway with a bonus entry giveaway for everyone else. Boosters feel valued, and the rest of the community still has a chance.

Thank-you messages

On the dashboard, the Boosts page lets you set up thank-you messages for boosters, including messages sent in the server or by direct message. See Web Dashboard.
